Hi all happy new year Well when i sex the youngetsers, i hold them im my hand & if the "Tail" goes down, its a cock, & if the "Tail! points up it a hen.Well it worked for me, but sometimes i might, not be right, but 98% of the time it works..Cheers Speckled.

many a true word spoken in jest as they say why do u think the boys smile n the hens frown ? cos the boys go on top n the hens get trampled but seriously if the poop chute smiles/frowns where the other way around it would make mating harder for the bird

this way always works for me looking from the underside of the foot lay the the three toes straightly alongside each other if the outside toe is longer than the inside toe the youngster is a cock if they are the same length it is a hen this can only be used with pigeons up to one month old i sex mine when i ring them
