Could anyone enlighten me on the minimum requirements for an camera for eyesign pictures & maybe suggest a good cheap camera or two that they Know will fulfill this ( joe90 maybe you could point out some models that give pictures that are easy for you 2 appraise ?!) thanks

ok joe90 thanks for the fast reply i just wanted to get somefeed back on cameras ppl use, that have high enough definition. Rather than spending out a fortune on an over classed one or wasting money on one thats not up to the task . Also I didnt think the assistants in dixons ect would have the right advice for such a specialised use yet alone want to go thru the explanations of why i need 2 do it !

All of my pictures are with a Nikon 995......good enough for the internet. There maybe be newer Nikon Coolpix cameras that are even better now......but the 995 can be bought on EBay for 10-20% of what I paid. Stay with Nikon and make sure they have a macro that will work as close as 3/4 inch. Light still has to be good and as still as possible to good pics of eyes. www.sahotaloft.com/Auction.htm

my cam is a FUJIFILM s3500 4 megapixels does a god job
